It is a high-quality serving material designed to protect the bowstring and cables from abrasion caused by the compound bow's cams and guide cables, and also for center servings on competition recurve bows.

Its incredibly thin yet strong diameter of only 0.008" provides excellent durability and protection against wear and tear.
